Overall, I really enjoyed the process of creating the pitch deck and ideating on how to improve our product. Music isn’t a space that I know a lot about personally, so learning more about the music creation process was really interesting. I enjoyed putting together all of the work and research we did so far this quarter into one combined pitch that we could show the whole class. Pitching in front of the whole class was definitely a little intimidating, but getting feedback from everyone was invaluable in improving what we had. We definitely were too broad in scope with our ideas at first, but after we picked a focus on “Google Docs for Music”, I think we can continue doing really well with this idea. Additionally, I think drawing out low-fi prototypes was helpful in envisioning what our product would actually look like.
Overall, this project was very fun to do and rewarding.
