final reflection

Overall, I really happy with the product we presented and truly think it has strong viability. Throughout the process we certainly pivoted from one idea to another, which caused some stress on the group, but I think we came together strong in creating a fan subscription new product.

One thing I really valued was the dynamic in our group. We managed to strike a great balance between creativity and practicality, checking in on each others weekends, but also getting work done. I think we probably met more times than other groups, but that helped us stay aligned in what we were working on.

A significant challenge we faced was identifying the most sustainable revenue models for indie artists, as well as keeping the platform accessible while offering enough value. However, this challenge pushed us to think critically about balancing artist needs with fan engagement and finally gave us our final product.

This experience reinforced my belief in the power of well-defined target audiences. I did a lot of work on our TAM/SAM/SOM analysis, which helped us better understand the potential impact of our service on small, dedicated communities within the music industry. I think these skills are really transferable in the real world as well.

Reflecting back, I feel proud of what we accomplished. The project not only sharpened my skills but also reinforced how meaningful collaboration can transform an idea into something truly valuable. Moving forward, I’m excited to apply these insights to similar projects.
