Issues Found

Issue Description Importance Fix
Premise of App Unclear People don’t really understand what the point of the application is. They don’t understand why they are being asked for their billing information when they are unsure if they want to buy the posture tracker yet. They would like to know what it does and why they need it beforehand. Severe During onboarding, add more screens explaining the importance of the posture device and what it is for. Add pictures of the device itself and how it should be worn so users understand why they would want to buy it.
Home Page Content Unclear Users did not really understand what the statistics tracked on the home page were. They did not get that they were being tracked on good posture throughout the day. They also did not understand the time interval of the graph. Severe Redesign the home page graph so that the content makes more sense. Possibly use a line graph to see how posture changes throughout the day overtime. Also clearly label metrics.
Readability of Text Users had a hard time reading smaller text as well as the graphs in our app to the extent they would sometimes miss essential information. Severe Make text bolder and bigger. Also, use more contrasting colors whether it be white or black so that they can be distinguished from our background.
Confusion about Groups Users were not sure how to edit groups and how to remove users in the first place. They also did not understand how they could remove themselves from a group. Moderate Redesign our groups page so that users are clear on where to edit groups. In edit group mode, they should be able to remove themselves from a group, but not remove others from the group unless they are the group admin.
Confusion on Rewards Users wanted to be able to see where the prize pool was and how much money was in the pool in the first place. Moderate Add a statistic on prize pool money on the group page with the dashboard.
Going Back on Sign Up/Log In Users could not go back when they accidentally clicked on log in or sign up during onboarding. Moderate Add a back button to log in and sign up pages.
Hard to Differentiate Navigation Bar There is no clear distinction between the navigation bar and the content on each page. Trivial Add a divider between the nav bar and page content.
Accept vs Decline Colors The orange color of the decline button makes it seem like the accept option compared to the paler blue used for the decline button. Trivial Possibly swap the colors for both of these buttons and standardize these throughout the app.
