2. Confusion around reading screens: users didn’t fully understand what a reading session is or what happens when they complete one.
Plan: Improve the onboarding process, add tooltips or short explanations, and clarify how progress is logged.
3. Progress tracking is unclear and needs more immediate feedback: users want to see exactly what they’ve read, rather than just abstract progress stats.
Plan: display books and articles read, improve immediate progress indicators beyond the “wrapped” feature
Moderate Issues:
1. The call to action button placement and size: the action button isn’t prominent enough and its position isn’t optimal.
Plan: Center the button more, increase the size, and swap its position with the streak tracker
2. Font size and readability: some text is too small, like the time of day options and easy/medium/hard labels.
Plan: Increase font sizes in key areas and improve contrast for better readability
Trivial Issues:
1. Minor UI tweaks: remove hover effects on mobile, add an “X” to remove blocked apps, and adjust button and text sizes for consistency
Plan: Fix mobile-specific UI and refine layout details
2. Terminology Adjustments: “screen time” should be called “reading time” to better reflect the app’s purpose
