FitPulse Project Reflection

Working on the FitPulse project was one of the most engaging experiences I’ve had in this class. Our team came together with different skill sets and perspectives, and I found that dynamic both challenging and energizing. I especially appreciated how our discussions moved from abstract ideas about recovery and behavioral design to concrete user insights that actually informed our product. It made the connection between classroom concepts and real-world application feel seamless.

Coming from a background in computer science and entrepreneurship, I’ve always been drawn to the technical side of building products. But this project pushed me to think more deeply about why people behave the way they do — and how product design can guide those behaviors without being manipulative. Learning frameworks like B=MAT and seeing them play out in our own design decisions was eye-opening.

Overall, this course made product management feel more tangible and human. It’s less about building features and more about understanding people — their motivations, habits, and friction points. That perspective will definitely influence how I think about product design going forward.

Thank you to the teaching team for making this such an engaging and thought-provoking experience. I’m leaving this class with new tools, but more importantly, a new mindset.
