Measuring Me pt. 2

One habit that I observed over the weekend was me not being able to “Eat healthy”. As I observed it, I figured that it was not a standalone habit but in fact a curation of other related habits that if I can solve for, eating healthy can become pretty easy and convenient. I used the Connection circle and the Fishbone diagram. The reading on making the environment frictionless in order to maintain habits helped a lot.

CONNECTION CIRCLE: It revealed all the other habits that are associated with this habit. Once I am able to solve for some, or break the loop of some, it can become easy to solve for Eating Healthy.

FISHBONE DIAGRAM : Show the ecosystem that need to be updated for me to achieve the goal.

For next time, even if I can solve for one connected habit that reinforces “not eating healthy”, I think I will be able to continue with it. I would try to use more machines like toasters, that can help me save more time, and invest in good quality groceries so I have things I can use to make healthy food quickly.
