Our team is looking into how we can encourage people to wear sunscreen more often and more consistently. I created a persona of one of the participants in our diary study: Reluctant Andy.
Reluctant Andy knows that he should wear sunscreen more often, but doesn’t feel like he’s outside enough to warrant it. He also hates the feeling of sunscreen on his skin. Reluctant Andy is a college student, and so his daily routine involves going to the gym before grabbing lunch and heading to classes. Andy owns sunscreen, and keeps in on his bathroom counter, but his actual skincare routine happens after the gym.
