CASE STUDY: Give Your Colleague the Rating He Deserves—or the One He Wants?

  • How do you feel about how the work was divided?

I think the work was evenly divided amongst all team members. Each of us worked in around 3-4 main slides and each of us had one very tough slide to tackle. For instance, one of the members had 3 slides + having to design some mockups of our product. In my case, I had 3 slides + having to do an entire excel with the financial projections and assumptions of the entire company.

  • What do you wish you could change, if anything?

I think we lost time at the start of the project because we had not understood that we where not creating a product from scratch, but that we where working on expanding and scaling a growing company. We could have gain so many more insights by figuring this out early on.

  • What is 1 action item you have to start, stop, or continue going forward?

Start: doing the readings a couple of days before the deadline

Stop: I had to move classes at the start of the quarter to be able to attend section hours (which I had not originally planned). I was able to change this from week 3.

Continue: actively participating in class and asking one to one questions to the professor
