Insight 1: Irregular meal times contribute to procrastination.

Insight 2: Presence of snacks/food in vicinity usually leads to eating snacks in the near future.

Overall I enjoyed making these recordings if only to help myself visualize this behavior. The process of recording my meals helped me to confirm insight 2 which I already had some idea of. Combined with the readings throughout the quarter, it is abundantly clear that I could reduce the number of snacks I eat by leaving food out of my sight at the very least. Insight 1 was much more surprising to learn even though it seems quite obvious in hindsight since I knew snack times cut pretty deep into my working time. Seeing it more generalized into my overall meal times being a stemming issue puts into perspective how important a consistent schedule is.
