Project: Sunscreen
Meet Lazy Larry. Lazy Larry is a student at Stanford who is very lazy when it comes to his skincare routine. He does have a motivation despite being lazy about it. His motivation is that when he goes to the beach and does not wear his sunscreen his skin gets red and it will start peeling. Knowing this he is motivated on learning more about the benefits of sunscreen and apply it to his skincare routine. He does have some habits which entail him taking a shower every morning and brushing his teeth. He will do this regularly without any thought to it. However, with his facial routine he will do this sometimes if he remembers. Sometimes when he does remember he is still lazy and does not feel like doing his facial routine. He does have phone where he does use a reminder app to remind him about his homework and tasks throughout the day. However, he is too lazy to put reminders for applying sunscreen / do his facial routine. He does admit that if he does become for consistent with his facial routine he will be more consistent with applying sunscreen.
Journey Map
Meet Larry’s journey map during one day during the week. This day he wakes up and is running a tad late so he only had time to take his shower, brush his teeth, and eat a quick breakfast. However, when he does not put anything on his face, his face feels dry which he does not like the feel of it. While he is out he does wish that he did put on moisturizer or something on his face so it does not feel dry. He also goes to the gym and even during that moment his face feels worse and is wishing he wasn’t lazy and was not running late to put on his moisturizer. At the end of the day he takes a shower and finally puts on moisturizer which he feels much better about.
