Explanation on who you recruited and why

We recruited three participants for each experiment (9 total interactions). We found them through mutual connections, and they are all based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Experiments were conducted over Zoom and in-person.

Participants were young professionals aged 23–29 because:

  • They align with our target market

  • They are interested in personal development and language learning

  • They often struggle to maintain language learning habits after school

Participants included:

  • Two early-career tech workers

  • One consultant

  • One medical school student

  • One product designer

  • One product marketing manager

These users reflect our intended audience: busy young professionals balancing work, learning, and social life.
