Clickable Prototype
Our team elected to develop our clickable prototype in Figma because we had built our moodboard there and were excited to use the free icons available through the Figma community. In order to simulate tasks that would be available in a mobile application, we used the “prototype” option in Figma to link screens.
We built out a flow for each of the tasks we explored in our sketchy screens in class: signing up for an account, onboarding, making a reflection, engaging with others’ reflections, and adjusting personal settings.
Our clickable Figma prototype is available here, and the Figma file also includes our team’s moodboard!
Usability Script
Our usability script is available here.
We focused on investigating how potential users would engage with their phone throughout the day, as well as how well they would understood the core tasks in the app: posting a reflection, adding friends, and using the social feed. We also seek to understand how well the app’s design dovetails with its content, and if the various buttons and screens we use are clear!
