Wireflow 1: Onboarding

Our onboarding flow focuses on lowering setup friction to support the “chill guy” persona. As a laid back, noncommittal person, intensive onboarding could lead to abandonment. As an iMessage integration, our app has minimal setup and does not require account creation, since it is linked directly to the user’s phone number. Further setup steps are binary decisions, making the process very quick and requiring minimal cognitive load.
Wireflow 2: Initiating a Plan

Focusing on the user journey, this wireflow is tailored to the “chill guy” persona because it includes extensive nudges to prompt the user to communicate frequently. While the chill guy often fails to respond to planning messages or gives noncommittal answers, this flow prompts the user to flesh out plan details, confirm, and reconfirm closer or send a cancellation message. Calendar checks are managed automatically for a seamless user journey, and the flow culminates in the updated flake score, motivating the user to reflect on their behaviors.
Wireflow 3: Checking Plans

This wireflow focuses on the overall analysis of recent plans, narrowing in on specific plans that need scheduling help. Since the “chill guy” often fails to follow through on suggested or unconfirmed plans, here the app helps the user by automatically searching for tentative plans and proposing ideal scheduling. Finally, users rank their level of excitement so that the bot can learn more about what kinds of events they are most excited about. Since the chill guy often tries to appear nonchalant when committing to or canceling plans, this step gives the user to be more reflective about their interests and the relationship between their excitement about a plan and their likelihood of following through.
