Raggiana is a behaviorally grounded productivity app designed to help college students actually following through on their daily commitments. Through our baseline and intervention studies, we identified key behavioral barriers such as overcommitment, emotional friction, fragmented processes, and the guilt-avoidance. Our intervention study tested simple social accountability through group-based goal sharing and peer encouragement, revealing that prioritized, visible commitments and daily planning rituals can significantly improve follow-through. Based on these insights, we designed a mobile app centered around three core principles: intentionality (limiting users to three priorities per day), accountability (small, social group interactions), and self-reflection while maintaining low cognitive load. The final prototype includes intuitive interaction design, accessibility (large text, bold text, reduce motion), and ethical considerations for the future are privacy controls and avoiding unhealthy productivity norms. We hope to create an environment that supports sustainable, realistic behavior change instead of idealized productivity.
