Experience: Being aware that I was recording my performance with the habit I wanted to change helped me change the habit in the beginning. However, after a while, the initial pressure of being recorded wore off and I continued with my usual habit, although with a little improvement. Next time, I would measure my productivity by how long it takes me to complete tasks instead of how often I get distracted, because I think that way of measuring it will lead to less affects on my performance caused by the measuring itself.
