IDEaL: an IDE / text editor geared toward those who are learning how to code and do not have a strong technical background. Using pro-sumer model to get institutions / companies to adopt it for their individuals.

 

Objective: smooth out the bumpy process of learning how to code.

  • Growth / user base
    • >1000 downloads of our application within the quarter.
  • Engagement
    • Users should not be spending more than 4 hours at a time on the IDE.
  • Revenue
    • $X / month in revenue from individual plan purchases.
  • Quality
    • Identify and launch 3 improvements for next update, after collecting user feedback.

 

Objective: be the trustworthy partner of learning institutions who teach computer science.

    • Sign on partnerships with 3 institutions (universities, bootcamps, academies) as a B2B relationship for their students.
  • Engagement
    • Students should exclusively use IDEaL for each coding project assigned.
  • Revenue
    • At least $Y / year in revenue from each partnership.
      • Pricing / plan may vary based on student base for each institution.
  •  Quality
    • Teachers / section leaders / feedback-givers should make 75% less repetitions in their style comments on student code.
