Slack has problems that include message delivery issues, channel failures, and notification clutter. In my screenshot, Slack shows the full workspace name in the notification banner, and it would be useful to remove it because it can overwhelm the message preview. Small details like this matter for workers and students who depend on clean and readable notifications. If communication feels confusing, Slack faces a retention risk because teams can switch to other tools where notifications are clearer. Slack protects revenue by offering help resources, feedback channels like their subreddit, and recovery flows such as using Slackbot to guide users.
Uber has many issues for both drivers and customers when the app does not meet their needs. I have had situations where my order never arrived, and Uber refunded me, which shows they try to build trust with customers. On the driver side, the impact can be more serious. In the screenshot I am using, a driver completed a grocery delivery, but the app still asked for a return. The app also blocked screenshots on that warning screen, which made it harder for the driver to document the issue. This creates a revenue cost because broken delivery steps mean drivers lose pay and Uber loses loyalty. Uber relies on recovery flows like retrying steps and contacting support to keep deliveries safe.
Cash App problems often appear during transfers or account setups. Transfers can fail for security reasons even when users have enough money, and this is often aimed at new users. It can feel confusing and causes people to switch to other platforms. Cash App protects revenue by reassuring users when money is safe, showing returned funds, and using security checks to prevent fraud. When these steps fail or support is not available, trust drops quickly.
