Working on this project felt like going into unknown territory for me. I didn’t know much about the music industry. When Christina introduced the projects, I was a bit hesitant. However, seeing some of our group members so excited made me curious. I also agreed that it would be a good idea to give it a try.
As we started the project, I really enjoyed working with our team. We have a positive atmosphere that encourages open communication and teamwork. Even when we faced problems or disagreements, we could easily talk them through and find solutions. It was great to see everyone contributing their unique ideas and skills to solve a project that felt like a real-world challenge. This collaborative environment not only improved our problem-solving but also made the work enjoyable.
But one challenge was that we were limited by our assigned company’s situation. The company had its own problems and seemed stuck in certain areas, which greatly limited our options. This made it hard sometimes to explore ideas or try solutions we thought could work. However it also taught us how to deal with limitations and find creative ways to work within them.
Despite these challenges, I learned a lot from this experience. Learning about the music industry and learning how to navigate in an unknown sector (doing interviews, customer research) broadened my perspective. I gained insights into how this sector works and the unique challenges it faces. Working closely with my team also showed me the value of good communication and how different ways of thinking can help solve problems.
Looking back, while the project’s limits were a challenge, they also pushed us to think more creatively and strategically. It was a chance to develop resilience and adaptability. Moving forward, I hope to keep these lessons in mind and stay open to exploring new areas.
