Anemone: Clickable Prototype + Usability Test

Introduction

Solmate is a mobile app to help users develop a daily habit of getting sun based on the concept of “anchor habits.” During the onboarding process, users are asked to choose an existing habit to pair with sunlight. In the morning, they get a notification to get sunlight. Then, in the evening, users log whether they were able to complete their habit, their energy level for the day, their sleep quality the previous night. These metrics help us derive insights from sun exposure and inform users on how sunlight helps other aspects of their lives. For the usability study, we ask users to walk through three core task flows: (1) onboarding and sign up, (2) habit questionnaire, and (3) the evening check-in.

The goal of the usability study is to determine the effectiveness of our design (whether users can complete the desired action), where users find delight in the process, and where we can make the interface more intuitive if we discover points of confusion.
