Introduction
Branch Out is an application that allows busy students to enter their weekly schedule and outdoor activity preferences to get spontaneous text nudges to go outside. Our app is a website with a simulated phone to allow usability testing without needing the full week. The purpose of the app is to get students to go outside more frequently. We aim to test if our app is intuitive such that students can upload their schedule and enter their information to receive texts without needing significant external help. This will help us reduce churn during the sign up and configuration process while reducing friction for our users. We also wish to test the placement and functionality of all of our features, including the ability to rate past text messages from Nova, the AI coach that texts students.
