Throughout this process, I really enjoyed working with all of my team members, but I also learned a lot. I think the most exposure I have gotten to a similar industry was my entrepreneur class in high school. However, that class felt extremely surface-level compared to my experience with this project. I know this is also an introductory class, and while I think the overall workload aligns with that, the insights I gained far exceeded my expectations. It was really cool to be able to work in a team with individuals who are smarter and more experienced than me to be able to bounce ideas off of.
I really liked how everything we went over in class could directly relate to my project, or at least the real world. I never really thought about being a product manager before, though I have heard the term. But this experience has definitely opened my eyes to that possibility. It feels like you are somewhat utilizing the same skills as an entrepreneur, but with a little bit more stability regarding a paycheck, which I find to be a nice alternative. Just doing some basic research outside of class, I realized there is a lot of opportunity for product management internships, or something similar, that piqued my interest.
Thank you so much to the teaching team, I am excited to learn more!
