Individual Project Reflection: Soup and Bread

Reflection:

I gained valuable insights into the various aspects that need to be evaluated when constructing a business model, recognizing how important it is to understand both value creation and revenue streams. Additionally, I dived deeper into the typical business model that restaurants employ, such as cost structures centered around supply chains, service efficiencies, and menu pricing strategies that impact profitability.

I also improved my communication skills by learning how to effectively engage with the product counsel, integrating their feedback into our pitch strategy. This involved using their terminology to address overlooked points in our initial preparation, ensuring the pitch was comprehensive and aligned with strategic expectations.

Moreover, I learned the importance of risk management, including identifying potential pitfalls and developing strategies to mitigate them. This proactive approach helps in maintaining stability and adaptability during business execution.

Finally, I understood how to coordinate and integrate everyone’s individual work into a cohesive pitch. This process ensures that each segment transitions seamlessly, creating a pitch that flows logically and persuasively from start to finish.
