Intervention Study: Proto-Personas & Journey Maps (Yishu Chen)

Since we are interested in fitness and tracked participants’ workouts over the course of a week–and most people only have one session a day–my journey map is across the span of a week instead of a day.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Findings:

  • May not be correlated, but lowest overall day score for the only day with no exercise.
  • The only time she exercised without planning was when motivated by friends
  • Low motivation may not lead to best workout but could still lead to feelings of pride if pushed through to workout
  • Seems overall less motivated and satisfied with cardio compared to other types of exercise
  • Occasional rest day is beneficial
  • While workout efficiency is prized, having enough time to do everything you want to is important for workout satisfaction
