For this assignment, I created one proto-persona and journey map that capture some of the sentiments that my team discovered in our pre and post interviews. My proto-person is named Tomas Jackson. He is a busy college student who struggles to find time for school, work, family, and friends. Tomas is a generally introverted person, but he still enjoys being social and tries to venture outside his comfort zone. Videogames are a big part of Tomas’s life as they help him connect with his friends and destress after a long day of responsibilities. Tomas also has a dog named Lucky who he loves and cares for. Overall, Tomas feels energized from playing games, spending time outside, bonding with his dog, and being around other people. Opportunities for intervention for Tomas will likely focus on getting him involved with community projects, allowing him to connect with friends, or engaging his love of games.
