The thing I want to change is my bad habit of playing video games for too long. I was playing four phone games and they take up a lot of time. I thought through what I gained from these games, like happiness and friends, and what I lost, such as time and other hobbies. I made up my mind that I really need to study more and prepare for graduation, so I started with uninstalling one game immediately. I’m also selling my account of another game to say goodbye forever. The past two days I forced myself to double think before I click on the games, and I successfully reduce logins to only two times a day, spending hour an hour each time. I use cooking, homework, and video chats to distract myself from gaming. I repeatedly remind myself that if I have to work hard in a virtual game, it lost its meaning of bringing me happiness. I’m pretty satisfied with my changes so far, but I should make sure I stick on to it. In the future, I plan to communicate with friends who don’t like games, and get their thoughts on why games are replaceable.
