I chose Booked & Busy Beetrice because she represents a common student experience—being highly ambitious yet neglecting small habits that allow the ambition to be sustainable. Many students prioritize school at the cost of their physical comfort, leading to a reinforcement loop: tension builds up during deep work/focus -> attempt to ignore tension -> focus is hindered by tension & attempts to ignore -> tension continues to build up. However, when prioritizing school, they often fail to acknowledge this fact and cite time as the reason. Thus, I felt that the journey/opportunity map was a great chance to identify moments students like Beetrice do in fact have the time to incorporate a stretching habit. Most importantly, the opportunity map identifies moments that allows Beetrice to maintain their exact same schedule, ensuring that stretching is not conceptualized as an interruption/distraction. The journey/opportunity map also nicely highlights the aforementioned reinforcement loop through the pain points.
