PSP 4 – Romir Jain

I expected Granola, Otter, and Fireflies to have almost identical pitches. Their homepages actually made the same basic product feel pretty different.

Granola describes itself as an AI notepad for people in back to back meetings. It feels aimed at someone who wants good notes without adding another thing to manage. The emphasis on having no meeting bot stood out to me. On the Elements of Value pyramid, I’d put it under saves time, simplifies, and reduces anxiety.

Otter’s promise is turning conversation into action. With automatic follow ups and live coaching, it targets people and teams who want help getting work done after a call. That maps to reduces effort, organizes, and integrates. I can see the appeal, although live coaching sounds like a lot happening while I’m trying to listen.

Fireflies feels more focused on the team. Its searchable conversations, analytics, and integrations promise that useful information will stay accessible across the company. I’d map that to informs, organizes, and integrates. This seems especially useful once nobody remembers which meeting a decision happened in.

I’d choose Granola. I mostly want to pay attention and leave with notes I can trust. That also says something about my own value proposition: being attentive, remembering what matters, and following through.
