Extra credit sketchnote for synthesis in the design process by EB. I don’t have an iPad, so I tried out using a computer to plan out/write text, printing, and then adding in sketches, labels, and diagrams by hand.
EB’s sketchnote for synthesis on the design process. It shows the three chasms (making meaning out of data, experience scaffolding, and empathy). The first chasm has diagrams that show going from messy post-it notes to meaningful diagrams. The second chasm has someone telling a story, a visual depiction of scale, and a coffee cup (to represent the shifting placements example in the reading). The third chasm has people empathizing with each other, along with some of the challenges of empathizing and the types of experiences.
