SnapEdit (Team 12) – Assumption Testing

Submission by Armita Hosseini & Benjamin Klieger

Assumption Identification Process

When starting, we knew that we had to focus on an assumption that could be rigorously tested and validated based on our means and resources. This meant something we could test using the prototype we will be vibe coding in class. This focus aligns with one of SnapEdit’s core value propositions, which is making the graphic creation process fast and easy for non-professionals using AI. We knew this would be testable through a prototype, where we can measure the time one spends creating a graphic using the platform. To make this more specific, we decided to also make the assumption relative to Canva, as it is one of SnapEdit’s direct competitors. Overall, this process was driven by balancing knowledge of SnapEdit’s focus with feasibility, specificity, and opportunity for valuable insights.
