These three AI Notetakers help people take meeting notes but after doing some deep-dive research, I noticed that each one focuses on something different although they have the same category. For example: Granola main focuses is helping people stay present during meetings without having to worry about taking notes. It also doesn’t add a bot to the conversation, which brings a natural experience. I think this can be helpful for people who have meetings throughout the day. On the Elements of Value Pyramid, I would connect Granola to saves times and simplifies.
Secondly, Otter focuses more on keeping track of what happens during and after meetings. It helps individuals and teams review conversations, find important details, and remember follow ups. I would connect this to informs, organizes, and reduces effort.
Moving on, Fireflies takes a slightly different approach by focusing more on teamwork. It connects with other tools and helps teams organize meeting information across projects. Its value comes from integrates, organizes, and saves time.
My personal choice would be Granola. In general, I have used this product and I like the idea of being able to focus on conversation without worrying about missing something important. For my personal use, having too many features can make a tool feel more complicated than it needs to be. Too many features can create more confusion if its not executed correctly. If I get to build my own product, I would prioritize a certain group of people which would target an issue. Taking my time to do the research and clarify if my product features make sense.
