Week 5 Milestone: Value Prop + Test It

Value Proposition:

We promise an AI-context gathering tool that suggests tool access approval to IT administrators. It beats what they do today because it reduces IT admins’ time to ticket resolution resulting in reduced PM downtime.

Opportunity Solution Tree:

Story Map:

We split the story map and user stories into 2 segments: the user (IT admin) and agent (the tool itself) to capture the steps of both the user and the agent.

We applied Torres’ principle of positioning features as opportunities for the user that address their direct needs from her ‘Continuous Discovery Habits’ article. To do so, we reworded our feature descriptions so that they speak directly to the user’s pain points as opposed to the feature capabilities. This is a better way of describing the product, as it is immediately more relatable to the potential user and creates a direct link to their experience, communicating the value of the product.

Smoke test:

Unfortunately, we received no sign-ups 🙁  But it was fun to make the page and think about the product messaging/graphics that are most important and effective in communicating the value-add of our product.
