For me, I would definitely consider working at Facebook. The things I most care about accumulating money, providing security, and leisure time. While leisure time will never be featured prominently at any larger tech company like Facebook, the first two reasons are means to that end in the future. While I want my work to be meaningful, I prefer being able to see the direct results of my actions positively affect others. This may be happy customers and coworkers if I end up in product management, or may be seeing users have a positive experience with something I build if I end up in front end or other engineering roles. This definitely helps with the justification. Additionally, while there are definitely ethical questions when it comes to Facebook, it is hard to deny the positive good that has come out of the company, and if I can be pushing for more positive change I would be willing to work there.
