The behavior I want to change is my inefficient use of time, which prevents me from finishing tasks on schedule.
I’ve been wondering why this happens, so I started using a time-management template in Notability on my iPad to track how I spend my time. Then I realized I waste a lot of time scrolling through short-video apps, especially Xiaohongshu. Its algorithm is really good at recommending content, and most of what I browse is in Chinese, which is super engaging and eats up my time.
Another issue is that I don’t get enough sleep. So I have to take a nap every noon, but there’s always so much work waiting for me, you know, all sorts of things to prepare and do. After tracking my daily habits, I tried to figure out what’s causing this situation.
I made two diagrams: one is a circle map that lists all my behavioral problems, like procrastination; the other outlines mechanisms. My goal is to use my time more efficiently and become a highly productive person.
