Business: Product Management in Practice

From what we learned from the readings and from what I am aware of now, I see the product managers role as a bridge between the separate teams contributing to the product creation. They are responsible for oiling the machine that is the team in order to make deadlines, work together, meet, and handle any loose ends of the project. The role is very broad and complicated but very crucial for a team to stay on track and accountable.

One question I had for the author is about their initial experience as a product manager. I wonder how long it took them to get out of the mindset that they needed to contribute 60 hours a week to the office. How did they keep their insecurities at bay and how did they balance the urge to prove themselves vs actually doing the job.
