Slack
Error handling with Slack is often due to connectivity issues, during which they give a lot of troubleshooting tips!

Since Slack is mostly used in the workplace, Slack failures mean teammates can’t communicate and workplace productivity is lost. This might lead workplaces to switch to other platforms like Microsoft Teams or Discord. Slack’s troubleshooting guide seems to shift blame away from the user and there’s lots of resources for help, keeping a nice tone.
Uber
On Uber I often have issues where I book a ride and it can’t find a driver. It gives a number for how long until a driver, but sometimes I never get matched to a driver. On uber it is always saying “We’ll find you a ride within X minutes”. Otherwise, Uber relies a lot on in-app assistance. Uber wants to provide users with the rides they want (or at least reassure that they will eventually), so that users don’t switch to other platforms like Lyft/Waymo. Each lost ride is a lost transaction.
Banking app
When I enter the wrong password when trying to log into my bank account, I immediately get an email about it.

This creates a sense of urgency and security, showing 1) if someone is trying to hack into their account and 2) giving reassurance that security measures are in place. People put the most trust into banks, so they need to have a lot of checks in place. If they lose all trust then people will start to pull their money out of banks and they will begin to lose value.
