Reflection to Final Pitch Deck, SoundWave Studios Product Proposal

Overall I found the experience of preparing a product proposal pitch to be very useful. Firstly, developing our solution and working within the constraints of the company felt very realistic. I got to practice several skills that I think are not only great practice for PM work, but professional life more generally. Examples of these skills include a S.W.A.T. analysis on our product, as well as identifying new product strategies, market share / growth potential, and cost/ revenue predictions associated with our solution. Moreover, I really enjoyed working alongside the SoundWave team- we get along well and worked effectively. It’s always a pleasure to meet and work alongside new students on campus, and this project was another example of that. Finally, I loved the live pitch in front of the product council. They were tough but fair, and they pointed out good areas for improvement in our pitch.
