Quinn’s advertising revenue model is based on clothing brands paying us to host their sponsered posts/search results. For example, if a user searches for “workout t-shirt”, the 2nd row of search results will be sponsored listings of “work t-shirts” from Nike or Adidas. In addition to search results, sponsonred clothing advertsiements that tie closely to a users interests will occasionally appear in the user’s content feed.
In “The Internet’s Orignal Sin”, it says that “As a rule, the ads that are worth the most money are those that appear when you’re ready to make a purchase … because advertisers know you’re already interested in the services they are offering.” This is exactly the type of ads we are going to host on Quinn. Since our target audience is based on the assumption that they want to improve their stlye by buying clothes. Our users will already have a strong interest in looking at clothes, so advertisements that are related to their search results or their style preferences will have very high click through and conversion rates.
