Recruitment
We recruited six people in total to participate in our assumption tests, with three people per test type. We focused on finding people who eat in dining halls regularly but intentionally sampled for a range of planning behaviors: people who look at the menu before going to the dining hall, people who do not look at the menu, people who survey their options in the dining hall, and people who do not survey their options.
