If I was a manager, I would focus on ensuring the safety and wellbeing of my employees. I would make sure that they are aware of the resources available to them in such situations. I would not judge them or make preconceived assumptions about the status of the relationship or how it may affect the work of the employee like Elizabeth’s manager did.
