Pitch Reflection – Clarehx

This milestone in the project was incredibly helpful in understanding the circumstances surrounding preparing a pitch and actually delivering it in front of professionals as well as a larger audience. It gave me insight into not just how to prepare and give the pitch but also how to handle the equally important Q&A portion. Another helpful aspect was having the clear breakdown on what needed to be included into the pitch and understanding that the expectation of slides content was much higher as you could share or send out the slides afterwards for investors to review. As opposed to other more performative presentations which spotlight the speaker and in return require minimal slide content or broad sweeps of information.

I think in preparing for this event, our focus was largely on the making sure we had the pitch nailed and trusting that we would be able to field whatever question came our way during the Q&A. That being said, for future iterations, I believe it could be helpful for us to prepare at least a smaller doc on potential Q&A questions and the necessary facts to answer said questions.
