Product Management in Practice

How you see a product manager’s job

“Sailing the seas of ambiguity” and “value exchange between the business and customer” are two aspects that stuck out to me.

Other than some general takeaways like those, I think a key point the author was making is that there is no clear definition of a product manager’s job. It is highly dependent on the company and the situation. Overall, it requires the PM to wear many hats, be proactive and really go after the pressing challenges for the company.

What questions you would have for the author of the book.

How do you find the right product management role for you if they are so ambiguous?

Why are PMs so stressed out? Are there exceptions to this rule? What do they do differently?
