Working on this project taught me a lot about business models and decisions, and all that a PM must do to stay on track. I did not realize the depth and extent of work and research one needs to do in order to be knowledgable of a certain field or market. I think one of the toughest parts of this experiment is making a viable product that was enticing enough to get a niche audience, but was not attempting to do it all- thus hiking up production costs and loosening our grasp of a secure (albeit smaller) target group that would allow us a safe entry into a very red ocean market.
I think at some point we also struggled with how to showcase all the information we have been using and put it in a succinct and easy-to-read format in terms of slides and how we verbally present our issues. However, watching our peers presentations gave us a good understanding how how to make our presentation more investor-friendly, and we were able to even get under the time we were designated.
